The BMR Podcast is a "franchise" podcast consisting of three podcasts: The "Black Man's Roundtable" podcast (the "Flagship" podcast); The "Local Lookout" with Rodney & Bobby podcast; and the "Roundup" with Rodney & Rodney podcast.
The BMR is a space where we discuss some of the most important issues of the day affecting Black men and our communities. We focus on local issues in metro Atlanta GA, but we also stay engaged with national and international issues.
We do what we do to keep our community woke and engaged. Our community is the most undervalued and most marginalized community in the country and we are sick and tired of it!
Rodney Butler welcomes a special guest or a panel to discuss important issues affecting our Black communities such as politics, mental health, business ownership, education, criminal justice, community leadership, veterans issues, and much more! "See you in them suites and them streets!"
On this segmented podcast, Rodney and Bobby X. Fryer welcomes a special guest, breaks down a civics lesson, and discuss a hot topic! "We'll be on the lookout!"
On this segmented podcast, Rodney and Rodney J. Littles welcomes a special guest, discuss a hot topic, and shine a bright light on a host spotlight topic! "We'll keep roundin' 'em up!"
"Anthem of the Unheard: Breaking the Chains". An original song by Rodney Butler written as the theme song for the Black Man's Roundtable Podcast.

This episode critically explores how immigration, law enforcement, and systemic control are interconnected. It highlights relaxed standards for officers and increased agency militarization, revealing impacts on marginalized communities. We examine policy history, such as deportations under Obama, address civil rights concerns, and expose how qualified immunity protects officers from accountability. The conversation covers emigration, immigration, and migration and the risks of restricted movement due to legal loopholes and discusses how biases and powerful interests influence law enforcement practices. Guest co-host Herschel Grangent, Jr., brings firsthand experience, sharing personal and professional insights into systemic failures and the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. The episode encourages critical thinking about mainstream narratives, offering clear analysis for those seeking justice, equity, and civil rights.
Join us for the premiere of the fourth season of the Black Man's Roundtable, where host Rodney Butler sits down with the Honorable Robert Moore, a distinguished author and former U.S. Marshal. In this compelling episode, Moore shares his journey from the segregated town of Algoma, Mississippi, to becoming a trailblazer in law enforcement and public service. Discover how Moore overcame systemic barriers, led the Illinois State Police's inaugural Affirmative Action Program, and became a respected advocate for diversity and equity. His memoir, "Off My Neck," serves as a testament to resilience and leadership, offering insights into his groundbreaking work and personal reflections.
In this episode of the "Roundup", hosts Rodney Littles and Rodney Butler engage in a deep conversation with guest Darris Rollins about the importance of community empowerment, economic development, and the impact of recent policies on Black communities. They discuss the significance of education, local governance, and the challenges posed by data centers and economic disparities. The conversation also delves into the contentious topic of "white" reparations, emphasizing the need for historical context and accountability. As they reflect on the events of 2025, the hosts encourage listeners to take action in their communities and support Black-owned businesses.
I want Georgia to be known as the number one place to work, start a business, and raise a family — no matter who you are or where you live. Together, I know we can do it. ~ Jason Esteves
Tanya Miller has spent her career on the front lines of justice. As a prosecutor, she fought for victims and held child predators and violent criminals accountable. As a civil rights attorney, she defended Georgians' rights and demanded accountability from those in power. Now, she's running for Attorney General to ensure that the law—not politics—serves every Georgian.
