We'll See You In Them Suites and Them Streets!
The BMR podcast is a "franchise" podcast consisting of three podcasts: The "Black Man's Roundtable" podcast (the "Flagship" podcast); The "Local Lookout" with Rodney & Bobby podcast; and the "Roundup" with Rodney & Rodney podcast.
The BMR is a space where we discuss some of the most important issues of the day affecting Black men and our communities. We focus on local issues in metro Atlanta GA, but we also stay engaged with national and international issues.
We do what we do to keep our community woke and engaged. Our community is the most undervalued and most marginalized community in the country and we are sick and tired of it!
Rodney Butler welcomes a special guest or a panel to discuss important issues affecting our Black communities such as politics, mental health, business ownership, education, criminal justice, community leadership, veterans issues, and much more! "See you in them suites and them streets!"
On this segmented podcast, Rodney and Bobby X. Fryer welcomes a special guest, breaks down a civics lesson, and discuss a hot topic! "We'll be on the lookout!"
On this segmented podcast, Rodney and Rodney J. Littles welcomes a special guest, discuss a hot topic, and shine a bright light on a host spotlight topic! "We'll keep roundin' 'em up!"
On this episode of our "Co-hosts Special", like them, we said all the quiet parts out loud! Bobby laid it down on what we need to do on Reparations. Rodney L. spoke truth to power on the Impact of Black Business on the U.S. Economy. And Rodney B. straight put it where the goats can get it about the hidden agendas in the Texas Legislature and the Washington, D.C. takeover. This is a can't miss episode!
In honor of Black Business Month, we welcomed Vincent Williams, Co-owner of Hunter's Soul Food Cafe, to the roundtable to take a deep dive into the benefits, challenges, and the future of Black business ownership. His family restaurant opened in 1976 and will celebrate 50 years of service to the community in April of 2026!
On this episode of the "Roundup", we welcomed Georgia State Rep. Robert Dawson, House District 65, for a candid conversation on the impact of the federal budget on Georgia especially the impact on Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and HBCUs. Also, check out our "Hot Topic" and "Host Spotlight" segments!
I want Georgia to be known as the number one place to work, start a business, and raise a family — no matter who you are or where you live. Together, I know we can do it. ~ Jason Esteves
Tanya Miller has spent her career on the front lines of justice. As a prosecutor, she fought for victims and held child predators and violent criminals accountable. As a civil rights attorney, she defended Georgians' rights and demanded accountability from those in power. Now, she's running for Attorney General to ensure that the law—not politics—serves every Georgian.
